Make It Coats:
Provence Pea Coat by Winter Wear Designs. This one is brand new, and I can vouch for Suzanne’s attention to detail–you’ll always get a wonderful product from her. I haven’t sewed this one up yet, but I LOVE a good pea coat.
Evergreen Jacket by Hey June. I’ve seen some darling versions of this jacket in thicker/warmer fabrics that would be perfect for areas that don’t get too super cold.
Vogue V8884. Love the classic lines and detailing on this one. It looks perfect for work.
Simplicity 1016. The classic details of this coat (the middle photo) are really sharp. And if you love capes, it’s a double win!
Simplicity 1540. I like the two lengths, fun collar options, and the flattering shape of this coat. I think View B is my favorite though.
Don’t have the time or are intimidated by making your own coat? No fear–these beautiful styles will keep you snuggly all winter and you can use your time for making other things. 🙂
