Flower Hairbow Tutorial

If you’re a mom of girls, you know that eventually you’re going to need something to put in their hair. Whether its a headband so your bald baby isn’t mistaken for a boy (I have a lot of experience in that area) or a hairbow to keep those baby wisps out of their eyes, we love accessorizing.
I first heard of Karly from Paisley Roots when she was a competitor in Project Run & Play (which I love–Season 10 is about to start so you should check it out!). Then I got to meet her at Snap! She’s a ridiculously talented seamstress and busy mom, and I’m so glad she’s here sharing her flower hairbow tutorial!

Hey! I’m Karly from Paisley Roots and I’m so excited to be over here today! I got to meet Lisa a few months back at SNAP and she was the most adorable preggo lady. Her little girl was born on my wedding anniversary and I was so excited for Lisa when she was able to take her little girl home! Speaking of little girls, I have 3 and we are obsessed with hair bows over here. It isn’t unusual for us to be making a bow right before school in the morning and it is my go-to for gifts. So today I’m sharing how we make a fabric flower hairbow. Before we get to the tutorial, I just want to mention a couple of things. Number 1: your fabric. You want something that’s synthetic and will curl when held to a flame. For mine, I used organza and satin. Number 2: keep some water close, just in case. Now that that is out of the way here’s the supply list!Once you get everything, plug in your glue gun.
And you are finished with your hairbow!

Thank you so much Lisa for having me!!
