Fenna from Fabulous Home Sewn is here today with an awesome idea for creating an easy interchangeable DIY Photo Backdrop. I saw her post, and I immediately wanted to make one for myself. I have a great spot in my house with lots of natural light, but I’m always trying to hide what’s in the background. With this idea, I won’t have to!
In addition to this idea, you’ll love some of the other projects Fenna creates.
Isn't it? I'm loving all these ideas from my guests!
Thats a great idea! Most of my photos are done on a photography board I made myself and then I always have to use the white boards or brown craft paper to make sure I don't get anything in the background. Now I am thinking I could do this by the bay window in the living room and move out of the kitchen.
It's so super easy--I was always frustrated with things in the background as well--this 'cures' that! :)
This is great Fenna! I need to get mine rigged up before it gets too cold outside!
Thanks Jess! This was the perfect 'push' to get them done. :)
This is a really great idea! Love your cat in the one photo! I love the wood look fabric and I am thinking that other fabrics would also work. I have used fabric for a backdrop but outdoors - not in. I need to try this - I am wondering about a different method other than hooks in ceiling as we just had our ceilings redone a couple of months ago and I hate to mess them up so soon...
Ha my husband looked at the hooks, and gave me a funny look as well. We both do keep thinking the one is a fly :p
Lisa, thanks for having me!!! :)
Great idea! I'm gonna keep an eye out for this fabric the next time I go to Ikea.
What a fabulous idea!!
It really is...
Whoa! That a smart solution! Instead of building a huge board to have to store, your idea is so much better.
Thanks for sharing on Show-Licious! Pinning!

isn't that awesome!?
Hi Lisa!
I've bought the same fabric during my last trip to Ikea, then I stopped: how can I hang it up in a way I can easily put it away?
Thanks for giving me the answer... I had a blonde moment!!!
