Frozen Snowflake Table Runner

This was a fun table runner I created for the Core’dinations blog last month, and now I’m sharing it here. It’s a good way to make winter a little more inviting. Throwing a Frozen party? This would make a fun focal point for the party table!

We are deep into winter here in Idaho, and all things snow. And since Christmas is all but over, I wanted to create something that would last through the rest of the snowy season so this Snowflake Table Runner was born. I love the contrasting blues, the sparkle of the glitter, and the delicate snowflakes along the border. Pair it with fresh white dishes, and I’m ready for all kinds of frozen adventures.

Snowflake Table Runner Supplies

Instructions

Step 1: Cut your snowflake design from white paper using your electronic cutter.

Step 2: Sew navy and light blue card stock pieces together, overlapping about 1/2″ to create table runner base. Sew around all edges.

Step 3: Adhere snowflakes to edge of table runner using ZipDry.

Step 4: Put dots of glue on the tips of the snowflakes and cover with glitter. Shake off excess glitter, and let dry.

Now just put it on your table, and get ready for a fabulous wintery effect whether it’s frozen outside or not.

  • I LOVE that you made this from paper! I've got a sewing machine collecting dust because I'm scared to use it so I'm always looking for a way to get the sewn look without actually sewing. :)

I would love for you to share this project {and others} at my Show Me Saturday. Our party goes live each Saturday morning at 7:00 am EST.

    • Don't be scared, Ashley! Paper is a great place to start sewing. Just start with a super simple project (like a pillow or baby burp cloth) and go from there!
