Sometimes I see a pattern and dream about it. I will be washing the dishes or folding laundry and I will be mentally picking just the right fabric and deciding which child the style fits best. The Glass Onion by Shwin Designs was one of those patterns for me.
I’d daydream about it. I went back to the pattern shop several times, and when I couldn’t get it out of my mind, I knew I’d better buy it. And I’m so glad I did. Because it brought me to an amazing opportunity.
Over the next year, I will be sharing one pattern a month from Shwin Designs, and I couldn’t be more happy about it. Shauna’s designs are a perfect match for me and my style. They’re the patterns I want to dress my girls in, and they’re the patterns I want to sew for myself. The only problem is deciding which to sew first. I have about three that are fighting for the top of the pile right now.
This is my first Glass Onion, but it fits my Saige perfectly. It’s so feminine and light, that when she puts it on its a vision. The front is sweet and darling
and then you turn around the the back is to die for cute.
Its the perfect marriage of style and comfort, and it’s a dream to sew. There are no closures so its easy for Saige to get on and off without help, and a breeze for me to sew. And what’s not to love about that.

I am so jealous of your opportunity! Her patterns are amazing. I would probably get no housework done for a month as I hurried and sewed through all her patterns. I am waiting for my son to get big enough to wear some of the stuff she has sewed for her son.

I was looking for something to sew for my daughter for the new school year and I stumbled upon your page. My daughter's name is Sage and is entering kindergarten this year... I figured this could not be more perfect. I have not sewn in a while because I have two small children that keep me very busy. I think I just have to try this one out though.
